Maryland Basketball
The professional basketball team of Maryland is the Baltimore Pearls. There website can be found at www.hometeamsonline.com/basketballteam/default.asp?username=BAPEARLS. The Baltimore Pearls are associated with the American Basketball Association (ABA) and were currently moved to the Northeast Division. The team plays at the Woodlawn High School for its home games.
The team is owned by Melvin W. Coles and Brother Bey. The team is coached by R. A. Turner who has a reputable past by winning the Nike Pro-Am Championship from 2000 – 2004. Turner has also coached many players who have made it to the NBA like Steve Francis (Orlando Magic), Jahidi White (Phoenix Suns) and Demarr Johnson (Denver Nuggets).
The Pearls recently hired Aaron Shelton as their exclusive trainer. Shelton has a B.S. in Sports Medicine and Wellness from Averett University.

Rodney Blackstock stands at 6’5”. He plays as a Guard. He went to UNC in Greensboro.
Willie Bullock stands at 5’8” and plays as a Guard.
Ismael Caro stands at 6’0” and plays as a Guard. His hometown is Hartford, CT and he went to the University of New Haven.
David Egans stands at 6’5” and plays as a Guard. His hometown is Inglewood, CA and he went to Xavier of Louisiana.
Ernie Graham Jr. stands at 6’9” and plays as a Forward. He grew up in Baltimore and went to Independence Community College.
Arthur Lewis Jr. stands at 5’8” and plays as a Guard. His hometown is Washington, D.C and he went to Bowie State University.
Cornelius McMurray stands at 6’2” and plays as a Guard. His hometown is Baltimore and he also went to Bowie State University.
Bryon Mouton stands at 6’6” and plays as a guard. He went to the University of Maryland.
Javes Wiggins who stands at 6’7” plays as a Forward. His hometown is Baltimore and he went to Maryland Eastern Shore University.
Burgess Williams stands at 6’10” and he plays center position.
Warren Wilson stands at 6’5”. He plays as a forward.
The Baltimore Pearls are looking for their basketball fans to come to their games and support them. A club activity may find going to a game an enjoyable experience.
